I like how life has a way of forcing us to live 'right' by providing us with little incentives like ulcers, anxiety, disease, etc..
I'm feeling psyfun right now..

well it doesn't ever completely go away if you have a disorder.. but it definitely gets exasperated by not living well.

I deal with anxiety on a daily basis, THC helps but only if I have a STEADY suply and sometimes it makes everything worse and it cost more than I earn(...), EXERCIZE, healthy food;I pay special attention to the fats, Hemp seed oil is the best for humans, fish oils, and most raw vegetable oils
will help me get cool and calm while refined oils and trans-fat makes me feel like my brain is on fire and my bubble has melted and I have no more protection against other people...Above all what really helps me is; LOVE.
I'm feeling bruyant right now..

LOL seroquel.

BTW I smoke weed for my anxiety, it's just that some meds really work for certain people. It's about trying different things out.

And are you telling me that all the drugs the kids take on this board are any better? Ketamine? Cocaine? Do you know what that does to your central nervous system? You can chose to take your meds when you want btw, not on a schedule. It's called taking them when you need them, in no way are you becoming a mindless puppet zombie or wtv the fuck you're talking about. And the flower comment is merely a reflection of how you think. You think the answer to everything is found in nature, that isn't the case or everyone. good luck with your theories hippy.

(teka trop long à jaser là-dessus)

by the same token you could say life forces you to live right by having fire burn you and water drown you... there's no forcing, it's all just cause and effect.

I have clinical anxiety. It affects you on an everyday basis. For example, at my apartment, I'll pretend to get my mail so I dont have to ride the elevator with randoms, even though I don't actually mind riding with randoms. I also show up to work late almost everyday, even though I like work. I've skipped school presentation, gotten sick on purpose, etc. I also can't say hello to people I havent seen in a while, especially aquaintences, although I'm getting better than that. A lot of it is really silly. But a lot of it is practically difficult to deal with - like asking girls out when you have panic attacks, or public speaking when you have panic attacks, or peeing in urinals when you have panic attacks. So, no, you probably don't have anxiety.

Some things that work for avoiding panic attacks:

1) Breathing with your diaphram instead of with your chest. Slow deep breaths. Concentrate on breathing.

2) Learn to detach from your emotions and your mind. IE - if you learn perform either on autopilot (disengaging from the siutation) then you reduce the chance of a panic attack becase you're no long cauntiously thinking about the situation

3) Desensitize yourself/ Get confidence: Get lots of useless practice of whatever is giving you panic-attacks. For example, if you're afraid of public speaking, then join a club where you speak about useless shit in front of people you don't care about. If you have approach anxiety, find 100 girls you'd want to fuck, but otherwise don't care about and approach everyone of them. Eventually you desensitize yourself to the situation.

4) Perscription Drugs - I take beta blockers for particularly stressful situations I can anticipate in advance like Public Speaking, but I have friends who are on daily medication.

5) behavioral therapy
I'm feeling a overhang right now..

Gamos you're describing pure anxiety. you can also get anxiety as a second layer of another mental disorder (thus not being the primary problem) as well as get organic anxiety, mixed with other disorder. while DSM make clear-cut distinction, the bearer of problems don't. having disorder not clear-cut to the DSM suck because our system (well I'm not sure about Canada) is primarily made for that.

The only suggestions I can make are the fairly obvious ones:

-cut down on illicit substance use
-see a licensed medical professional for medication
-therapy to help deal with any emotional stimulus
-exercise?
-copious amounts of masturbation?

I've never suffered from panic attacks, and any bout of intense anxiety that I've experienced personally has either resulted in an intense hit of endorphins, or sudden, skittish and irrational behaviour.

....
....
....
....

Although, if the panic attacks are brought by an overdose of cosmic energy, I do have these handy moon crystals that can purify your space chakras. Only for 9999.99$ At this price they're a bargain!! Not meant for pregnant women, people with diabetes, breathing disorders, irrational fear of crystals, rational fear of crystals. May result in death, death, death, death by rock, constipation, insomnia, poltergeist activity, gypsy curses, attacks by dark sorcerer kings, anxiety.
I'm feeling extraordinarily bored right now..
