Hypocrite...

I have realized that I am a hypocrite.
I make judgements, give advice, and have expectations that I cant even live up to.

When ever I think about my addiction...
all I can see is that scene from Half Baked where Thorogood (Dave Chapelle) gets boo'ed out of rehab for claiming to be "addicted...

to marijuana"

But I really AM addicted to Mary Jane.
Life just starts to lose its luster when I havent seen her for a while...

I have analyzed and contemplated upon my situation... but without avail.

So what I am asking of you is, do you know any Chronic(and I mean Chronic) potheads who have escaped their supressive mistress's without replacing one bad habit with another?

is it possible?!?

or any words of wisdom?

yes you can be addicted to anything.

as long as you have an addictive personality, it doesnt always have to be physical, it's menat.

like im 'addicted' to meat. i always wanna eat it.

i know someone who's kicked their chronic addiction to pot without replacing it with something else. so it is possible, you just have to really want to do it and then stick with your decision

This may not be helpful, because I dont know if you appreciate the good and bad effects that pot has, but I found that it got me demotivated, boring, and really lazy. I just quit by thinking about those effects. Cause all I really wanted was "to smoke a joint". Its not so much the buzz... If its sortof the same for you, maybe you should just think about all the extra energy you'd have if you didnt smoke...

good luck

I'm a weed addict too , but i don't see anything bad about it ...
So i keep on ...

Opstimist Pryme ; do you like it or you'd rather stop ?

That's the main question ...
I have to admit i'm addicted to chronic ganja, but i kinda accept it cos i don't wanna stop ...

Maybe i'm just dumb ...

i'm hooked, an well, i tell you it's not easy to stop (if you really love to smoke) but its not impossible at all.

All you need is restraint, if you can stop yourself from smoking for a whole week straight, you should be able to go a month, and up and up

you just need to be dedicated

but, it's a hard thing to do if you think about weed and how much you like it

It depends ; sometimes i'm silent and really calm, sometimes i'm a bomb of excitement and motivation ..

I guess it depends on everyone, cos what weed does to me is motivation, i can go to work stoned and still be efficient ....
