Ok am I the only one who's sick and tired of seeing grown men walk around with their pants down to their knees? Its the most ridiculous trend since Kriss Kross started wearing their pants backwards and it only seems to be getting worse by the day. Its like everywhere you go now, you're subjected to guys in smelly boxers

Bordel...

HAH! Too funny I have a friend who wrote something similar on his FB page. Saying that it's a jail trend to have your pants around your ass, it's like a whale tail for a chick. You're basically taunting prisoners to come fuck you in the ass.

the absolute worst I've experienced is biking back to Montreal via the Cartier bridge after work... and, due to all the people heading back to their south shore homes, there sometimes isn't much of a gap to pass people... so I got stuck behind some fuckin' tard in moth-eaten briefs, with his pants down around mid-thigh... pedaling as hard as he can, standing up, on his ratty-old BMX with tiny tires... effectively going nowhere, but succeeding in waving his ass in front of me... at eye level.

I was real happy when I was able to pass that particular stuntman.
I'm feeling new records right now..

honestly I think that`s an urban myth. I've heard that before too... but I also read some article ages ago written by some born again LA Crip OG dude.. he also said it came from prison, but he said it was because when prisoners got processed into LA county jail or where ever, they weren't allowed to have belts. so they had to take whatever size jumpsuit/pants they were given.. hence the baggy sagging clothes.

I've seen hardcore Jamaican rudeboys in Toronto rocking that style, and I don't think they'd be wearing a style associated with bitches in jail - lol

That's the only explanation I've been coming across for about 20 years... makes sense, no belts (and no laces), you lose weight in jail, pants drop little by little...
I'm feeling the flow right now..

Well, why not wear inmate orange jumpsuits while you're at it ? Oh I see, not inconspicuous enough.

How does one wear those pants anyway ? Plus, isn't it too easy to pickpocket those guys ? You just drop some change behind them and steal their wallets which is only a few inches off the ground anyway. It's not as if they'll notice anything... well unless it's chained.

The homosexual explanation is quite plausible. Why else would a guy want to show his ass and his butt odor to the world unless he's trying to send a signal.

When I was a kid, the people who wore sagging baggy pants were mostly skaters.
18 years later, I still wear my pants low, but not down under my ass or anything...
Just a couple inches under where they're supposed to be. It's simply more comfortable,
nothing wedging up your ass, or pressing your balls back up into your stomach.

However, when I see "rapsters" as you say, with pants literally mid thigh area,
my brain just doesn't compute. It's really fucking ridiculous, and must be so awkward,
and difficult to walk around and do normal everyday things.

I would fall into the first category of that pic lol.

No "Disorderly Conduct" or " Indecent Exposure" here!! hahaha
I'm feeling your insides right now..

In terms of incomprehensible pant trends, I'd like to include - if possible - hipster ultra-tight pants in this thread. Unless they feel like showcasing their already negligeable package size, why would you want to wear jeans in a way that makes your lower body look as uptight as your hipster attitude, not to mention walking like a stiff penguin and not being able to sit down properly because you can't bend your knees ?

while at the beach I also noticed lots of young'uns with the boxers exposed well above their bathing suits. People wear underwear with their bathing suits now?
