the problem with antonino is that he takes a lot of picture when it's not the good time to do it.. i mean pics of people passed out, people puking their life in a garbage, people doing drugs, people with a huge ring on their nostril... and he even put these pics on facebook where everyone can see them, and he even tag people in these pictures, without their permission... i assume what i do when i party, but i don't want my co-workers to see this kind of pictures... and antonino doesn't seem to understand that thats exactly what i mean!!! to put pictures [ rave.ca ] is ok because its a party site, but facebook, come-on , :( |

Security by obscurity has been proven to be a horrible and stupid way to go about things. as far as crap pictures are concerned, I only consider a picture bad if you can't see anything in it. so long as there is one part of it, be it a person or some art that looks nice or somehow interesting, the pic should be there. I am sick of girls selfishly determining that a pic sucks because THEY don't look their best in it. Some of those photos have other people in them that look alright and those people deserve to see their photo. I do, however, believe that [ rave.ca ] should employ some automated method of getting photos removed. Like completely blurred or black images should be easy to report and get removed without Noah having the check all of them. I would volunteer to do some 'reported photo' checking though, as I have lots of time to kill :) i agree with somethings!! when i see a picture of me, fucking stoned, why does he have to put it on facebook. I mean most pictures we are all stoned or drunk but they are not that bad. There's some that people dont need to see. He just doesnt take the time to look at whats proper or not. I've taking so many pictures of people in parties that looked so fuck up and i respected the fact that they probably wouldnt want their parents to see them that way, so i never put them on facebook |

The first time I ran into him and his camera (a few years back) I gave him the nastiest dirty look and he turned around with his camera and harassed the next chick... Phew, I'm not under 22 anymore, so he doesn't bother me. His video was terrible... made everyone in it look bad... I also remember refusing to give my 2 cents when he was going around. |

I can't say much on the subject, but there was a HUGE amount of drama from him in my life due to two girls he has/had things for. It wasn't pleasant at all when I got a surprise phone call. I spoke to him at Space Bass though and we're good now though so 2011 is all new for me. For anyone curious about photography and the law: When the Police crashed Epic Coalition 3 this summer (fun times!) I was one of the people who stayed behind to help clean up and take care of shit. I got the chance to speak with the cops who were there about photography (since I -had them- watch me remove my camera's battery and store my camera in my bag so they wouldn't smash it or something) 1: You must have the permission of the person(s) you've taken the photo(s) of to put them on The Internet. 2: If requested to remove the photo from The Internet/site, you MUST comply. 3: If not, legal shit can happen. Weird rules, but I follow #2 since I always forget about #1 as next to no one knows about it. As for the subject of photography, what would everyone like to see MORE of at parties? Let me know so I can start doing it ^_^ |

a huge case happen past in the days where a guy did publish a picture of someone, who didn't knew she was being photograph, in a magazine when the girl saw her face in there, and had no clue at all how and when was this done or even why she start doing trouble to the photographer, and because of alllll this drama now, this rule exist in Québec and that's why form exist to get people signature to confirm the approbation of the subject (yeah, i find it extreme too in some case, like taking pictures in a public place) like i said, it's still a delicate subject, even in photography class we keep talking about it and wonder where the limit is! When it's ok and when it's not! personally it's only a matter of respect when i take someone's picture, i ask myself, "would I like it if it was me" and if the answer is no, i just don't do it! And if i took a picture of someone that made them look bad, i just erase it from my camera Digital cameras are great for that, there's a delete option :D |

I guess it's just up to us in the long run to realize that we live in a world where people can do pretty much whatever they want. legal or illegal, in good or bad taste, shit happens, be ready! :)
and then you gotta ask yourself, how do those people in those gurn photos feel? I personally see horrible photos of myself, and can laugh at them :) |

i think antonino is into the more BDSM culture as well. there is lots of respect involved into one's personnal limits... but you have to be clear. one problem is that many people are too shy to be clear of what their limits are. or they don't really know... i have no problem with antonino because i have been clear with him of my limits... and he respects them. and when/if he tries again, i reaffirm my limits. seriously i've seen so much worse in terms of creepy people... as noah says, you can't blame a guy for trying. you can feel flattered of the attention, take it, say no, but thank you for offering... |

| Coolness: 558485 | I was thinking of taking up HDR for the deco parts of my photos. My D-SLR can have two kinds of memory cards in it, I can use one for deco, one for the partying.
As with what yoshin last mentioned, Antonino does back off and respect limits once told. I've heard many-a-case where girls have told him and he doesn't go back to them, or when he does, he changes his attitude to suit their request(s).
