First I'd like to say I am sorry that I went as an unscheduled VJ, but I had good feedback, I don't think I spoiled anything :)

Second, this party was everything we could wish it to be. I almost melt during Zentrix prog tech part, and then my mind exploded when psytrance happened. Artifakt is really great, I've never heard of him before the party and he gained a spot along my favorite! DJ Daksinamurti was very good, this man seems like he played psytrance all his life! :) As for Virtual Light, I loved his set too :) I feel as he is ever improving and he was already good a long time a go, but is sets keep getting better everytime. The decos and the setup were spot on, Overall the Psyroom was a blast :)

The other half of my night was spent in the dubstep room. Quality sounds there too :) The sound was way easier and it was a good way of calming down and preventing a stoke in the other room.

So thanks to everyone who organized and give efforts for this party! Looking forward to trip with you all again ! :)
I'm feeling moodful right now..

Awesome party... Except for some people in the dubstep room... Who spilt a whole beer or energy drink ALL OVER one of the CDJ's in that room. Why does this stuff always happen in the dubstep room where the equipment gets murdered. It's not cool that someone is going to have to end up spending 250$ - 300$ to fix the machine... In the future I suggest not letting anyone in back of any DJ booth except for the people playing. Whoever split the drink all over the machine man up...

That sucks, I would also have to say the dubstep room mids and highs were uhh too high. It sounded horrible at times imo.

It was setup correctly at first... But people complained that they were maxed out on the mixer and it was too low because the DBX was set to -xx DB to prevent unexperienced DJs from blasting the speakers and people's ears. The DJs complained... After an hour of complaining Spike gave in and let the DJs choose the levels... Which was bad since everything was too loud then...

agreed, I had to have earplugs on all throughout the party until I got sick of it all and left haha.. Fun party I guess, I probably just wasn't in the right mood for it, rooms were too hot and humid, wound up spending 90% of my time outside, people on speed were muttering to themselves, parties on st-patrick always turn out to be the biggest sketchfests, from my point of view at least. Maybe I'm too old for this hahahaha.. Music was sounding good, despite the earplugs, wish I could withstand the heat more, left around 5am or so to catch up on some zzz's.
cheers.
I'm feeling only here for da babiez right now..

I fully agree with the heat and humidity .. Honestly, this should have been a proper outdoor jam.
However, we had only 1 week to come up with a game plan to make this a reality (Booking Artifakt with only 2 months to make everything fly with a reasonable budget ... also it's squished between 2 outdoor parties, St-Jean and Space Gathering)

- I'm happy the police didn't come.

- I hope the CDJ still works :D

- Artifakt killed it.

- Daksi killed it too.

- Artifakt killed it

- And you killed it

- Really impress about the music playing in the dubstep room (even with the sound prob) Livingstone and Wampa at the end were total dope!

Best acid trip of my life.
I had the biggest smile on my face while Artifakt was playing. I've never been so happy in my whole life.
I never thought I'd ever get to see him live, thank you so much Jesse and Vince! I love you both! <3

Amazing night over-all. I say bah to the "sound problems" Spike did a great job for what he went through :) <3 to Spike.

To the crew: fuckin' wicked job to all of you, I enjoyed helping with the setup and disassembling of Nexus.
To the party people: You ALL rocked! Great vibes people, great vibes! All so friendly and dancing away.
To the dubstep people: Whoever knows anything about that CDJ, seriously speak up :( Also, you left your flyers all over the walls and in the bathroom.
To the DJs: I for one found myself not able to choose which room to stay in all night, back and forth, psy-dub-psy-dub-psyyyyy. In other words, holy shit, best sets I've had the pleasure of experiencing. Artifakt blew my brains and ears out! I only had time before I came back to Nexus after my rest to YouTube some of his stuff, but oh man, when he came on to play, I was blown away. Only DJ I've ever seen have people up on the subs dancing. Rawr to Cherry and Rachel for that ;)
To the photographers: I saw Piotr's photos already, can not wait to see what the rest of you have on your cards :D Sam, I'm not touching yours on my cards don't worry! <3 you!

A personal thank you to Nuclear...

...for being the one I had to spend a half hour stuck in between floors in the freight elevator in the morning with. The picture will be up in the photo gallery, and the video is going on YouTube xD

CDJ works and is semi cleaned... It was sticky gummy energy drink... In the future, I suggest to everyone to only allow the people playing in back of the booth. There should not be 7 people in such a small place, it causes accidents.

So everything is good! Till the next event!

Great party.

Wasn't too convinced by the sound quality in the psy room though. The bass sounded a bit empty and I ended up spending most of my time in the dubstep room.

Living-Stone played one of the best dubstep set I've heard in a while. Very creative.
Wampa killed it. I don't really like "filthy" dubstep except when it's original, wich was indeed the case here.
I'm feeling the bass right now..

Tell that to the person who said there was too much bass. You prefer the sound of bandpass speakers.
