Need Help Putting An Event Together

 Coolness: 32205 | A couple of days ago, a buddy of mine and I decided that we wanted to throw a small event a couple of months from now. I had wanted to do that for a while now, and was excited to finally have an opportunity to do so, until I realized I had no idea how to do this.
So I figured, I would turn to you guys for help. Basically, I'm looking for a small venue that can fit about 100 to 150 max, ideally with two rooms but I can work with one. It also needs a place to store beer and alcohol with easy access. I also need some equipment, a few lasers, some speakers, fog machine, etc, so if you guys know any places where I can rent/ or buy cheap that would be great. And finally, I'll need a couple of DJs, so the question of how to go about getting in touch with them, how to pay them, etc. Right now, we're just planning it out, so if you guys have any other advice, suggestions, or issues to watch out for that would be great. |

anyway, good parties need: -good music: --->djs -good sound: --->noah [ www.rave.ca ] -good ambience (deco) --> whatever -at least access to water. -people --> [ www.rave.ca ] -a venue ---> you have to find one. best way is to go to parties, choose the place you want. done. |

-ventilation/fans -accessible venue (near a metro/no more than 1 bus ride away from one) with parking for those that drive. -2x Tecnics 1200 and 2x CDJ 800 (or better) with a good mixer (Pioneer or X:one) as well as space for Serato/Torq/Traktor DJs to put their laptop and be able to access the back of the mixer easily -Screwhead on your lineup  |
