I've been inquiring about the Drum'n'Bass scene in Ottawa, and I can't rly seem to find one! The Fix (Karl Haze, Mush & Rocksteady) are pretty much the only thing out of Ottawa that I could find who are signed and making moves, but they're still very Jungle and old school. I can't find ANY new school Drum'n'Bass crews, promoters or nights (Neurofunk, Techstep) other than Jungle or Wobble. As people who live in a forward thinking city when it comes to D'n'B, what do you think about the de-evolution or unevolving state of Drum'n'Bass in Ottawa?

did you read my post properly, or are you just spamming my thread with a random link?
It says nothing about local neurofunk/techstep crews or nights, just a dark dnb mix from '05 and a ton of HHC/Freeform or Nu Energy.

Pretty weak, anyone else?

Not at all bigger, we've had Cream festivals in Montreal, starting in '96. We're talking about Neurofunk Drum'n'Bass or "Dark" Drum'n'Bass for newbs. Not Jump Up, Wobble or Dancey shit, there's enough of that I'm sure. Where's the good shit? Who reps it, and why isn't it apparant to anyone outside of Ottawa? I've been told it's non-existant, and I'm trying to get ppl's opinion on it..so stay on topic, or I'll use the ban button.
