good stuff =) damn the old parties in Toronto back in the day were the shit, though this one is a few months before my time. still nice to see starting at around 03:00 there is good footage of a young Marcus Visionary rinsin out the hardcore jungle techno =) =) |

But you're right. I remember a time where the only way you'd hear about raves and get flyers for them was by going to a rave clothing or, more likely, record shops. No raves were advertised online. In fact, I'd like to think I may have helped a bit back then when I posted rave info from flyers i collected weekly in stores on my Montrealrave website. Nothing anywhere near the [ Rave.ca ] calendar, was crappy HTML barely viewable with Netscape. Back when the RaveWeb forum was at its infancy. God, sounds like eons ago. |
