No really. I love it. I wish more people would get behind the dnb... It's a shame that good taste is so rare. I just wanna say that the dude spinning from 1-2ish had great a selection and the MC (yeah, I am bad with names, alright) is the ONLY MC that I have ever seen that I have enjoyed. It's normally not my thing and normally I think it really detracts, but every time I see this guy, he really adds something. Keep doing what you're doing. On a side note, it might be nice to see some breaks too... I know that it's a dnb night and that people probably want to keep it pure but breaks might bring in some more bodies to crowd the floor and be a nice change of pace. Meh, just my feeling on it. I will continue to go to KO so long as I have legs. |

Ralph B aka Nino openned and impressed my team & I pretty well! Having the longuest set to play, he wisely chose the slow progression in bpm & style.... using bossanova and liquid funk tunes, our night was feeling great at 11pm... hence alot of the main crowd, again, arriving past 12am... Golgo 13 was there when they arrived playing classic dnb from the last 10 years, always tight. Big up to Mc Levon...Generic & QubiQ Mc(there ya go Zeropoint) reunited the dancefloor at 1am, and delivered with a load of new releases! They got me on my feet! Vilify had the job of killing us with her hard style; and there was no other place to book her than 2am! She destroyed! Shout out to Efes Mc. As one of the organisers, I will confirm that this night will stay true to the drum & bass sounds. We will on occasion flirt with the jungle side though... (Dj Recoil 11/07/08), or drop a different style of track - dubstep (Dj Sw@t 12/05/08), hard tek (Dieselboy 12/13/07), 150BPM hip hop (RedBong 06/20/08)... but 90+% of the time KO@Cafe Campus will represent the DnB. ...
