Little misshaps with the cdj at the beginning of my set, i would like to thank everyone who stayed in the room even tho the 100 was skippig. But, huge props for the crew for finding an extra cdjs under 10 mins. Montreal you rock more than Toronto, im happy to see the ammount of ppl embracing the Hardstyle. Hardstyle is THE most hated/loved style right now in north america, and with parties like these, and other events like Deep FrequencY Fridays in Ottawa, we can show the world that we love the Hstyle. Thanks again for the oppertunaty to play i had alot of fun, a little dark and sound was ok, monitor kept on cutting, but mehhh shit happens, you can never has a 100% smooth runing party. Looking forward to tagging with you Peter next year. This time i wont almost cut my thumb off and ill get that Hstyle Happy Birthday song out :P

 Coolness: 221745 | the problem with the 2nd room monitor was that the power plug was really loose and kept falling out of it's socket. i fixed it a few times during the night.
my favorit comment of the night was "no, don't turn the monitor on, it's skipping" !! |

 Coolness: 73065 | yeah about that monitor, I'm more or less pissed that nobody really brought it to my attention that the power cable was slightly loose and kept coming un-plugged. I was there during supaman's set fixing the cdj problem and I literally saw you kill the volume on the mixer for the monitor.I figured you just turned it off so you could mix efficiently in your headphones. Wtf were people doing behind the dj booth under the mezzanine anyways? Every time I came in I saw people under there. Anyways After Seismik's set I fixed that problem with a nice amount of duck tape. I'm really sorry for the people who had to mix without the monitor in the 2nd room, It was a slight short sight on my part.
Honestly I love the rave scene and plur and all that crap, but some ravers are just fucking dumb. That applies very specifically to the people who decided to use the toilette that had no seat and a piece of plywood over it in the washroom, the people (probably the same ones) who decided to relieve themselves in the shower, the people who decided to "adventure" underneath the mezzanine where the monitor was, the people who somehow managed to break a bunch of tiles in the washroom, and finally the people who decided that the very obviously blocked off elevator could bring them to some magical rave land or something causing JS to break his hand. Btw saying that sickness has to be the most dedicated security guard I have ever seen in my life. He kept working with a broken hand until 8 am, huge fucking props there. Honestly thanks too all the dj's that span, you guys all did a kick ass job. Everyone was really cool and kept the music pumping. Hugo and Jay you guys are awesome and I knew you would pull it off. Great first event, I'm glad I was able to help you guys out with it. |

J'vais le dire franchement, je trouve que c'est le pire manque de respect de poster en public une photo d'une personne, qui, visiblement, n'était juste pas dans un état pour poser, et qui n'est AUCUNEMENT à son avantage et que c'est pas voulu (par exemple, une personne qui est visiblement trop gelée...) Tu peux facilement scrapper la réputation d'une personne avec cette seule photo... (J'ai vu et même vécu des histoires) Juste dans cette série, j'en ai vu deux vraiment atroces... Moi être la personne qui est sur la photo, j'exigerais des excuses de la part de la personne qui l'a postée après bien sûr de lui demander de s'arranger pour l'enlever... T'as beau assumer le fait que t'es pas en état, mais c'est la responsabilité de la personne qui a prise la photo de juger si c'est convenable ou pas. C'est ta face après tout... ... ça m'est déjà arrivé de publier une photo, que la personne me contacte pour me demander de l'enlever parce qu'elle-même trouvait que ça pourrait la nuire... Et je me suis arrangée pour que ça se fasse. Désolée, fallait vraiment que ça sorte! Merci! ____________________________________________ DONC, POUR REVENIR SUR LE PARTY! =P Je me suis vraiment amusée, j'suis vraiment restée juste pour le happy, parce que mon monde avec qui j'passais le reste du week-end et moi-même étions pas mal fatiguée... C'était excellent du temps de mon arrivée et même quand j'ai dû partir! Mais le monde étaient en feu, et y'avait pas mal de couleurs! =D La salle était quand même bien, c'est la première fois que j'allais à cet endroit!  Coolness: 78250 | armonia : à propos des photos, j'avais déjà eu ce débat avec destructiva... il avait autrefois la mauvaise habitude de prendre les gens en photo quand ils faisait le bacon dans le coin, ou quand ils vomissent dans une chaudière. anyways. moi personnellement ça ne me pose plus trop problème, je dois être habituée de me voir en photo dans des états douteux, mais tu apportes un bon point. les appareils photos c'est parfois une plaie dans les partys.

Vibe was off the hook, happy dancing people everywhere, and I got some awesome feedback from my set. ^_^ The sound in the main room was great, no complaints there, except the mixer was really far from the decks in my opinion. Me and my teeny legs couldn't reach it! I actually had to grab one of the bricks in the back to stand up on. lol... My hat definitely goes off to you guys for an amazing first party, went off with little to no problems, and everyone seemed to have a great time. I'm really looking forward to the next one! Props to B&W Productions, and thanks again for having me. Too much fun. <3
Ps. A propos des photos: Honnetement, si quelqu'un est pour ce déchirer la face en publique, et qu'il n'a aucune honte avec ses actions, une photo prise de lui dans cet etat ne devrait pas trop le deranger... Si la (ou les) personnes en question ont un probleme avec ca, peut-etre qu'ils devraient reconsiderer ce qu'ils font. J'avoue, il en a des photos assez humiliante de mon début de "raveuse", mais ce sont en partie ces photos qui m'ont aidé a réaliser que j'étais la pour la musique et que l'importance n'étais pas (et ne devrais pas etre) dans les pilules..... /end rant |
