i don't know for how long it's been online, i only knew about 2 or 3 major US cities... but GoogleMaps' StreetView has expanded at once to a shitload of places all over the world !!

now you can visit many roads and cities in France, USA, Australia, Japan, and Spain.

for example, i've realized that much of Tokyo looks like average French towns (i'm very disappointed in their overall architecture...), that Australia looks much like north-america, and that there are some charming medieval towns close to Paris... there's even the fronts of my home and office buildings :)

like a few years ago when GoogleEarth came out, I've just lost a couple of hours on this new feature :)
I'm feeling phd powa !!! right now..

Noticed how there are *NO* canadian cities ? Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver are only secondary to the bustling metropolis of [ ] Alaska !!!!

Cat : de quoi tu parles ? :P

Indeed, no Canada... I think it's a problem of legislation... either there are nothing in a country, or there are many towns from the same country...
I listed every countries where it's available, actually : USA, France, Australia, Japan, and a few cities in Spain.
I'm feeling phd powa !!! right now..

Canada, as part of NORAD/NATO, has a few too many things going on in remote places that we shouldn't be peeking at and I doubt that they want to show them off.

Hey how close is Fairbanks to Russia?
I'm feeling sunless right now..
