Are you fucking kidding me? There's something deeply disturbing and horribly wrong with this contraption. I don't give half a shit about what their motivations might be; this is a clear breach of our constitutional rights. I'm appalled that something like this is being tested on our city streets and even being considered for future use.

| Change your tv, get a flat screen.
The mosquito or whatever they call it, basses itself on the assumption that most peoples over the age of 25, have enough hearing loss to not hear the 16khz tone. But obviously thats a pretty broad generalization. |

| 16k seems low to me, even after the amount of loud music i've listened to, i can hear dog whistles still. They should put it closer to 20k (the average limit of human hearing) |

| 16khz is actualy quite high up there, dog whistles arent a reference (probably more around 10khz) . Most peoples cant hear 20khz exept for Infants and young women. (womens hearing goes higher than men) |

most of us still ear 16khz clearly, we stop hearing about at this range, dog whistles are around 22-25khz i think |
