Like, things might not be aproved by our rating system yet, but that has been aproved by the UK rating system.. Just because it's passed the decency laws in the UK or japan doesn't mean it passes them for every country.. So you've got to wait untill it's been aproved for distribution in this country. |

A chaque fois que je pogne ça, je leur envois un mail de marde a Beatport. J'veux acheter une toune calisse, j'veux payer pour, pis vous me forcer a aller la downloader. Tu peux acheter le vinyl / CD d'Europe et le faire shipper ici sans problème, donc c'est vraiment très très cave, surtout qu'il y a des tracks qui ne seront jamais approuvé qui vont toujours donner un Territory Restrictions |

 Coolness: 52890 | I have a friend who set up a second account with his canadian credit card, but just puts a US address and it workde for him. That was a couple years ago though, not sure if that will still work.
As far as the Champion releases being restricted, that is probably only on the album and not the singles. All the singles are put out by Saboteur on vinyl and online, so there are no major distributors involved. The album however has a different distribution deal so they can get it into HMV,etc.... The distributor probably puts some money into advertising the album alswell, and makes a cut off all sales in stores and on major online stores like Itunes, but not Beatport. So they dont want to pay for an ad targeting the Canadian market and have people pick it up off beatport and they dont see any money off it. Im positive you could pick it up off Itunes no problem. |

 Coolness: 88635 | Certains labels (surtout le gros) agissent comme ça à cause des ententes de distribution avec des compagnies étrangère. Ça veut simplement dire que les tracks qu'ont peut pas downloader ici au Canada sont distribuées de façon exclusive à un distributeur, qui lui (dans le but de ne pas perdre de vente) s'est entendu avec le label pour qu'il respecte l'exclusivité de la distribution dans le pays également pour le format digital...

c'mon guys !! i know it sucks as it has happend to me before, but that's just the way it is.. its either that, or the label gets sued by the distribution company for breaking there contract agreement !!! |

Vince, le but c'est de faire de la pression au revendeur pour que lui en fasse sur les labels! Beatport ne sont plus les seuls a vendre des MP3 de bonne musique, c'est rendu une énorme partie d'un marché la vente en ligne maintenant, c'est plus une exception, donc ils n'ont pas a avoir peur d'être strict avec leur labels parce que leurs clients se plaignent. C'est de meme que les choses vont changer. Donc moi j'envoie des messages de gars vraiment frustré a chaque fois que ca m'arrive sur beatpot. Ils me répondent jamais les sales, surement parce que c'est dans leur FAQs la réponse, mais c'est pas une réponse/raison qui me convient! |
