| It's not that it's something new per se... Jap game shows are just that : GAME shows. You play. You have fun. It's a fucking game. Who cares if it's stupid, I'm sure even the contestants think that while playing.
American shows : measure someone's intelligence, make them feel stupid and humiliate them or make them feel superior and very smart........ all that based on whether or not they can answer a 3rd grade geography question.
I'll just leave it at that, I'm sure you all understand what I mean. There's toying with people's emotions and mind and then there's bashing into a wall. |
