Uwe Boll is going to be there for the world premiere of Postal.

I have some eggs in the fridge that expired in december. I also think we would need a super-soaker to comunaly urinate in and blast him with.

Something has to be done.
I'm feeling warcracktastic right now..

Seen...Tekkon Kinkreet, Arch Angels, The Restless, Ten Nights of Dreams, Jade Warrior and Roommates.

I chose a bunch of different movies and liked them all, especially Ten Nights of Dreams for the dynamic and Tekkon Kinkreet since it was a very nice anime. Arch Angels was pretty funny and The Restless had amazing visuals. Jade Warrior was interesting since I never really saw any Finnish movies and Roommates was...ok i guess. Not really scary but still decent.
I'm feeling tool tonight! right now..

That's all it had. Watching two hours of a movie where a crying girl tells you that she has no emotion and is happy because of it is just... too stupid for words. Also, Sephiroth ending = no no.

In short, drama is to Korea like anime is to Japan. They have tons of these and I have rarely seen any with interesting plot lines, except for maybe one or two. In other words, I wasn't surprised at all. =P

They have really weird movies, though. I love most of those. And Fighter in the Wind was great drama...martial art drama :P Choi Baedal!

And of course, Chan-wook Park's movies.
I'm feeling graverobbey right now..

I'll try to watch some of these! =)

I haven't seen many Korean drama movies, more series and I always have a hard time getting caught in the stories. Maybe I just need to watch more of them. =P

Chan-wook Park has a peculiar theme; Revenge as a double-edge sword. Watch Oldboy, Sympathy for Mister Vengence and Lady Vengence and you'll see what I mean. At the end of the movie, you don't know who's the hero, who's the villain but the one thing you know is you feel bad for all of them.

Fighter in the Wind is the story of a Korean who is stuck in Japan after the war and ends up being a Judo master, defeating most schools in Japan and being one of the few respected Koreans in Japan (think of it like the way France treats Belgium or we treat Newfoundlanders)
I'm feeling graverobbey right now..

Chan Woo Park's movies rock. That travelling scene with the hammer and the bad guys in Oldboy, filmed entirely in one take, woah. Great summary from DrNyarlathotep too ^^

I was also very impressed by last year's A Bittersweet Life, from the director of A tale of two sisters... Beats the crap out of more recent Yakuza movies coming from Japan...

Too bad I missed the start of the festival this year, but not that impressed with the line-up...
I'm feeling karma-holed right now..
