I was happy to figure out where the location of this event was. I had been to another event @ the same location. Music: The music both nights that I was there was wicked and people had a lot of fun dancing to it. So I have to say thank you to all that spun @ this event Vibe: OMG was this party fun & I had not a reason to laugh for a while :)…so props to the people To everyone that put ion this event thank you /merci .. I will make sure I hit next years for sure Now for the multi media kit that was given out…Nice will be interesting to see what is on there So in short wicked time be had all… Lee |

 Coolness: 2603920 | Best party in forever... who was the girl dj who was spinning at about 5:30am to 6:30am (maybe time wrong) on Sunday morning... Good stuff... I think I was hallucinating leprechauns and elves and dwarfs and fairies on the dance floor... I wish I had my camera still (lost it) since I had recordings of all the good stuff! And my 300+ photos are gone! Booo...

But I'm sorry, I have to criticize on the following: a) No crews from outside of Montreal b) No breakcore ???? c) Elitism That said it was really fun. These points are just for the next thing, because I'm worried that there won't be another decent Teknival, as in one with crews from the States, Ontario, Quebec, and wherever else representing now because there's all this talk about NTK boycotting Northtek (even if it's just from Cat) and also because St. Jean Basstiste might have set everyone back a good deal. I hope that the awesome vibe that was the three stages at St. Jean Basstiste can be transplanted to Northtek and that you can set aside my friends' poor organizational skills. There will be a site on crown land waiting to be plundered. It's important is that you are there. Otherwise you guys would be doing the Canadian teknival scene (if it truly exists) a huge disservice. So yeah I think that's a question of getting over elitism, putting aside all this competitive shit that seems to be causing tension. Filthy, IDJ, and NTK make a good team, now you gotta expand that team. Please do. Please. |
