Right, there was probably lot more things to do, and the fact the place was totally illegal kept them occupied to a minor thing instead of having them patrol and find the real problems. If the room would have been legal, the first 2 cops that came in would have gone back and it would have been the matter of a couple minutes, instead of a couple hours.

The lack of responsibility of the promoters and/or owner caused all this crap. Not the cops doing the work they are asked to do for the safety of all. And when I say safety, I really mean it. What if the console spread into electrical fire in room 2 ? It was in front of the only possible exit (which could only have let pass 1 person at a time anyway) ... 100 dead people sure would have been better than a busted party wouldn't it ?

And the lack of ventilation sure was totally safe to a bunch of people on E and Speed, Dancing and dehydrating like crazy because it was so hot you were sweating only by sitting still.

guys, stop saying its the police/fire dept's fault...
because its not...

Call the fire dept, and see what they think about the rave scene, you will be surprise to realise that they like us!

When they shut down an event, its no only for "fun"...they need a valid reason for it...and beleive it or not, it is for your safety.

promoters need to stop being scared...and start to work in collaboration with the city...
I'm feeling ticon live! june 1st right now..

yep, that what we(excluding me, because i dont promote) did in the past, get real permits and stuff...
not just asking someone if he has the permit without seeing it and/or doing searche from the fire/police dept to see if everything is legal on thier side

i dont know if you guys still do this, call police and fire dept so they come BEFORE the party, tell you if everything is ok, what will be the maximum capacity, and what you have to change/remove for everything to be safe, i remember the parties @ old bingos, we(again) allways called the fire dept so they evluate the room, that mean ABSOLUTELY NO CHANCES of being busted, unless you go over your capacty or act like an ass...

as WE i refeer to the promoters i worked in the pass with, Cha & Trab, Trance-nrg ect ...

Sickness is used to this if i remember corectly,( in the old shooting star times)
correct me if im wrong js! =P

There's only 1 or 2 "guys" who actually blame the cops here. It was pretty obvious who was responsible.

ok, dont know how room two was and im not here to excuse the promoters decision in that room, BUT

special care was taken to make room 1 (fractal) legal and legit. The firemen did come to give a capacity do a round check two days before the party... legal capacity was of 150 and i was told that the capacity was checked and that not more than 150 people were let into the room

the police also came the next day and shut down the place... which had like 25 people in it not doing much...

on another note, the second night went on at another venue and did not get busted and lets not mention where it was....
I'm feeling >_< right now..
