I'm feeling débile right now..

The cops came in around midnight... then 1am with the firemen. They kept a car in the parking lot on the other side of the street.

At 3:20am, I went outside with Wisebug, for a walk. As we got out, we came face to face with a dozen police officers, in two lines. They told us that the party was illegal and over and to move on the other side of the road. To wait in the parking lot, basically.

Some of us asked to go in and get our coats, as it was getting really cold. The answers we got ranged from "you should have thought of it beforehand" to "live with it". Wisebug asked to get his backpack and girlfriend, so that they could leave and the officers refused, telling him to wait in the parking lot (which defies logic but anyway).

The people responsible for the party had hidden Room 2 and locked it with a tough padlock, so that no one could enter.

We had to wait outside for nearly two hours before the people of room 2 got out. It was cold as hell and we had no idea what was going on. The cops left around 4am and we met our friends around 5 am... There was no reason to keep 50 people in such a hot room for an hour before letting them go.

It's so ridiculous. If you don't have the permit to have a second room (it's pretty much the info I gathered from various DJs and attendees I've spoken to in those two hours outside), well you don't use a second room. Not only was it illegal, room 2 was far from being safe.

And I didn't even get the tickets for the night at Saphir.

This was so disappointing. I feel bad for Dark Alakazoo. And DJ exT, who came in directly from Ottawa, couldn't play and was the only reason I wanted to go to DM2 in the first place.

The music, though, was good. There's always that! :D
I'm feeling pro-tarded right now..

I can only agree with that ... I sure do like the fractal, but renting 2 rooms when 1 was illegal, AND knowing the cops busted the last 2 parties there, was fucking unprofessional and irresponsible. I had a lot of fun that night, but non of it was due to the party.

Thumbs down on that one.

totally agree dr.N. if cops come they should never split the group. what would have happened if the cops freak out we would have been getting tasered while the 2nd room(which my gf was lock in also) would have been locked in like jews hiding from the S.S

good music though met cool ppl.
who was the guy i was talking too about motorcycles i need his advice still for my bike lol.

MOST OF ALL were the dudes that pretended too be just ppl waiting for other ppl in the second room but really they had the key and didnt bother telling us anything or getting our jackets or anything. sooo lame.

anywho ONE LOVE, fuck the police.

Wow! Nice comparison... raver jews in relation to police S.S.
No really. I NEVER saw that coming. Really shows a lot of deep thinking/reflexion on your behalf.

Yeah... you know who you should fuck? Those that didn't get the valid permits needed for that night. That's who.
But by all means... keep saying fuck the police. It really keeps showing how shortsighted you are.

by all means think what you want, i have tons of reasons for saying fuck the police. im sure tons of ppl do.

however, shortsighted? i dont think so. The cops were out for this place. They went out of there way too stop it. Saturday night. montreal. I'm sure there is and was MUCH more serouis shit for the dozens of police officers that were there too do that night.
the shortsightedness i believe is only on your part and the police.
touche what you want, but if your gonna rip on me for my opinions
then you AND the police can touche my BALLS

The cops only did their job. If it's not legal, who's fault is it? Ours? The Cops?

No.
