Cette méga fête est donc pour beaucoup l'occasion d'exorciser toutes les frustrations de l'année écoulée et de rassembler les foules sous la même bannière.
[...] le CARNAVAL déverse partout l'euphorie d'un peuple saisit d'une brusque frénésie. Tous les clichés sont là comme un scénario immuable afin que le plaisir soit la seule religion du moment... Soleil, jolies femmes, richesse des costumes, musique bruillante et trépidante, odeurs d'alcools et de plats en tous genres, tout cela laissera aux voyageurs des souvenirs colorés, sucrés, salés, et brulants[...] Tout paraît si beau à cet instant que l'on en oublie l'âpreté de la vie, et c'est bien là toute la magie du carnaval. Ainsi pour l'enfant que nous demeurons tous il reste une façon de vivre cette ambiance: quoi de plus excitant que de se grimer le visage et de s'affubler des costumes les plus fous?! Ainsi métamorphosé, il ne nous reste plus qu'à parcourir les rues pleines de visages rieurs, moqueurs parfois, et, jusqu'au bout de la nuit, laisser perler des litres de sueurs! Hallucinogen -in dub (album)Unbeknownst to the London massive, deep within the English countryside lie a number of brilliant music producers. One such unfashionable but extremely talented artist is OTT, best friend of Simon Posford aka Hallucinogen and previous editor of the Shpongle albums. [ -psyshop.com ] (distributor) 
MUSIC: [ saikosounds.com ] I’d expected this to be brilliant – but not this brilliant. Freelance producer and general sonic experimentalist Ott (read this week’s interview to find out how he put some of the sounds together) comes from a full-blown studio engineer background, working with the likes of Brian Eno, the Orb and even James. Freelancing for Youth, he met Simon Posford at London’s Butterfly Studios, and now lays down some seriously heavyweight remixes of Hallucinogen’s classic tuneage. Mi-Loony-Um opens with the same intro as the floormashing 4-4 original, and then buzzes right down to a slower, heavy dub tempo signalling that you’re about to be taken deeper than you’ve ever been before. It’s jaw-dropping, with the trademark hallucinogen sound more felt than heard. It’s pure dub, with hefty bass, plenty of topend splurge, a groove that’d melt butter and at eleven minutes plus it’s a perfect duration to get one on, light up, and float back. Solstice uses a more discernable skeleton of the original, and builds up some insanely gorgeous patterns, with rhythms shifting all over and melodies coming in and out of nowhere. It’s got a heavy druidic vibe, and a more complex set of atmospheres than you’ve ever heard before. Gamma Goblins and things get very, very good indeed. The pixielike main melody is underset by fat, red-eye rasta pure dub… and it’s a sheer fucking delight. You always had the suspicion that Hallucinogen’s stuff would lend itself well to dub – and this proves you right. It’s a dub circus with flecks of the original souping in and out, and the effect is truly psychedelic. Spiritual Antiseptic uses the original’s cutup vocals with a more traditional dub arrangement – melodica, clattering drums, and reverb to hell and back. Meanwhile LSD takes the intro and launches straight out into an insanely gorgeous bit of dub – the clatters and spaciness make this possibly the most shpongle-like on the album, and the new vibe and melodies Ott prescribes give it a trippy Celtic vibe. Twisting and turning, the way the main LSD melody surfaces is pure sonic poetry, and certainly gets those brain chemicals flowing. Finally Angelic Particles – with swirling vocals and sweet guitar (specially recorded by Simon Posford) creating a sort of timeless dub full of rich psychedelic harping back to Floyd, Gong and the Grateful Dead. This is an absolute triumph – it’s original, it’s brave, and the sounds are truly transporting making this a release that truly deserves the "psychedelic" tag. Species will prepared a new kiler album, after his first one was on etnica net... He will released his news tracks at 3D Vision records and soon on Sostice Japan, and on his label Ultra groove in Serbia. His sound is fucking good with a realy good bassline and synths effects! Full on for the night time! little touch and influence by Joti Sidhu, Absolum and the master Tim Shuldt for ambiance... So i can say that Species produced a unique sound ... The best is to come with Species, the new generation of the top producers! In 2006, Species represented one of the favorite producers of Joti Sidhu and Absolum! Don t missed him at Amazone ! |

| Coolness: 62315 | Héhé Baxter, pour ce party ou pour cette occasion et comme à toutes les soirées Amazone, ca marche à l'envers, car Amazone fait décoller les dales du plancher de danse et l'apéro se prends ensuite vers 4h00 dans un party-after plus relaxe qui est souvent annoncer lors de la soirée...Si la soirée débute à 20h00, c'est à fin de faire une évolution parfaite au niveau musicale, car OTT de Grande Bretagne jouera UN STYLE qui doit se jouer jusqu'à minuit, ensuite c'est le boom boom carnaval avec du gros son jusqu'à 3h30 am, ::Hyperactive:::... Les 2 dernières soirée Amazone ont été un succès avec environ 700 personnes... Alors arrrivez tôt, vous serez pas décus! Spéciaux 2 bières pour 5$ de 20h00 jusqu'à 21h30 !!
