| whew, so many replies to address...
to be honest it's not too serious a thing, I've only met her a few days ago and i'm not overly stressed out about it... it's not really a matter of the heart as such, and i'm not particularly in love, and I've made it clear to the girl that i'm not serious about it...
to the people who disapprove of me asking this question, fair enough, I see what ye mean, but since it's not such a big deal, why should it matter?... I'm just curious about what people's opinions are regarding this... and they're wildly varying in this case...
and she's not a raver and will not be reading this board... It's not like I have no respect for her, I do... she's a really nice girl in fact, eventhough I can't say i'm in love... so what am I supposed to do? remain celibate until 'the one' I want to be with comes along?... what if I never meet that person? (right now it doesn't look likely)... come on guys, don't be prudish... people can be so quick to cast stones from glass houses sometimes... I dunno, I don't see how anyone can call being with a 19 year old illegal.. or offensive for that matter. 19 is plently old for a woman to decide who she wants to be with or have sex with, a 19 year old is not a child you have to pamper although many come close. I say don't worry about the age but take the time to get to know her.. if you feel the gap now you will probably feel it even more later but only time will tell and if the gap doesn't bother you, than go for it. Also, 19 year olds are usually more needy than a 25 year old and you should consider if that needy-ness is okay with you. |
