 Coolness: 92175 | Well, in the case of punk I don't think it's so much jealousy of success as it is being annoyed of always havign to explain to everyone that the punk music you listen to is not what they know as punk and then trying to explain what it is to someone who's never even heard it b4. I mean, I pretty much gave up telling people I like punk music cause I know everytime I say that they're thinking that I listen to simple plan(which I don't want them to think) and then I have to explain that there are now 2 different genres known as punk which just plain confuses them. There's nothing wrong with the fact that Emo exists, the thing that's wrong with it is that they call it the same thing as "real" punk which over-shadows "real" punk and causes mass mis-education. |
