I really can't belive the hypocrisy in this thread... if you guys weren't so fuckin' ignorant you might have noticed that i acctually agree with half of what your saying... and if you notice the various responses in this thread are not one sided at all... proving my whole point correct. i played you guys like a fuckin' harp acctually. i introduced myself as the "chaos theory" in the equation... and you bit into it and attacked me for having a different opinion... (just like i predicted ppl would do to you ;o) and i'm only 1 person with 1 standpoint... how do you deal with millions opposing from multiple standpoints? like... i acctually agree with 90% of what your saying and i'm getting attacked for shedding a doubt on your proposed method of implication. i can only imagine your reaction to someone less openminded than myself. as a society... what might be good for one person... may not be good for all of them... to think otherwise is sheer ignorance. your opinions preach equality... but your proposed methods are unfair... anyway... if you guys want to start a renosance ... you might want something better to base it on than cultural intolerance. anyway i'm not gunna debate with you guys anymore because its like talking to fucking wall... quantum physics, science, religion and astronomy/ astrology are really interesting to me as well... but i'm not about to go forcing my beliefs onto others whose cultures forbid it. even if those cultures are scientificly wrong... we are still light years away from finding any real answers... so ya... i'mma stand my ground by saying "at this point in history" a new calander is "premature" (note: i never said impossible or improbable). anyway... feel free to go on ranting about peace love without acctually doing anything to make it happen... like the lazy hippies you are!! |

| Coolness: 166480 | murdock... i am not the one who attacked your points of view. i actually like what you say, it shows some intelligence and interest in the subject. i just don't particularly enjoy being disregarded as a hippie, but anyways i try to just ignore it and go on with the real contents whenever things like that happen.
you say it is premature to have a new calendar and i agree in the sense that a new calendar will never happen overnight. there is already a group of people who have suggested the 13 moon calendar to the vatican, and they just refused it. so now this little group of people is going among the people of every nation trying to get people to know and understand this calendar. it is slowly growing, as more and more open-minded people get in contact with it and realize that it would be a good idea to change our crooked measure of time. i think it is premature for it to be generally accepted, but i do not think it is premature to do something about it and be open. it's a work in process you know. what i am doing here is continuing the spreading of information. i'm not trying to brainwash anyone, only to make people actually question the 'reality' on which their life is based. now i must ask you where do you see cultural intolerance in the spreading of the seed of the 13 moon calendar? personnaly i tolerate that everyone use the calendar they choose. what i do not tolerate is blind belief to something just because it's what we've always been doing, or because everyone else does it. if someone gives me an intelligent reason to use whichever calendar they are using i'll consider their choice enlightened. other than that, it is only conditionning because we know no alternative. i am showing an alternative here - for the moment that's all i'm doing. |

I dont have a specific style, or whatever I just go with what I feel. But I still think there ARE styles out there, the hippy, emo, punk, grunge, ska, prep, gangster, raver, etc...no matter how much we bitch about it people still categorize and are comfortable in a certain style for them. Then they are categorized. The most important thing is to be comfortable with who you are and not care what people think. |

and the hippies, you know, they were a socio-political-whatever movement in the sixties and the seventies. this movement is no more today, the circumstances in the world are really different. we are more like the children of the hippies, and there are a lot of their values that have been passed on to us as a society, and there are a lot of their values that still need to be fought for. but anyways the hippies were not the first to stand for love, and they are not the last either. we didn't start the fire it was always burnin' since the world's been turnin'... ;) |
