man you hippies are nutty...

and i'm not even talking about yer hairy cooters...

history repeats itself...

learn from it.

time is acctually one thing we can acctually "kind of" agree on in this fucked up world...

just like comunism namaste's ideas only work 'in theory"

if these ideas were actually implied...

it would only push us further apart from each other...

cuz it gives up more to DISSAGREE with.

it would be like droppin another new testiment to piss of the jews... and most definately the christians this time.

changing the current measure of time at this point in history will almost gaurantee you a full blown HOLY WAR.

ravers are so uneducated out side that gay ass plur bubble...

NEWS FLASH!!!

SHIT AIN'T LIKE THAT!!!!

if someone dictates it yes it guarantees war.
if people all agree on it it is different. it implies people opening up their minds and releasing the fear of change. and getting together in a celebration of all cultures.

I think it's better work on ourself.
If everybody work on them self there is enough of job!
The other will do the same and then the world maybe will start to change!
We cannot save the people we can just save ourself.

You have such a wondrful mind anne-marie. You're right, people need to release their fear of change and open up to the variety and important details that surround us. Ignorance and ego stand in the way of curiosity and open-mindedness. All the athiests, scientologists or other skepticals out there recognize (through 'science') that it's the moon that creates the waves of the ocean, that our blood flows much faster during the full moon and that lack of sunlight causes depression. If this is all true and proven, how could the sun and moon not affect us in other ways, or even in every way? We're so insignificant compared to the universe, that's why ego is an illusion. I find it sad how people find ignorance funny and make useless and rude remarks because it pleases them. There's a difference between funny and just plain stupid. "Time" is just a word you can look up in the dictionary, and people still disagree on definitions. Life is subjective, people need to choose more positive perceptions of life.

I never forgot that i'm part of society...

and yeah... i'm just as fucked up as the next guy...

thats my whole fuckin' point.

smile your points are interesting but still... unrealistic...

you can't just imply darwinism and expect the whole world to follow it.

like DUH!! just ask CHARLES DARWIN!!

even if it is "scientificly correct"... there will be ppl to oppose it like it or not.

as much as we like to belive that all men are equal...

it doesn't necisarily apply to aptitude.

they thought columbus was full of shit too when he said the earth was round.

just because you can lead a horse to water... doesn't mean you can make him drink.

its also alot easier to make a hypothesis than prove it effective.

namaste....

your a total hippy chewing on your granola foot...

quote:"if someone dictates it yes it guarantees war.
if people all agree on it it is different. it implies people opening up their minds and releasing the fear of change. and getting together in a celebration of all cultures."

^^^what kinda ridiculous comment is that???
how can you say that when your whole "solution" is flat out shitting on the beliefs of some of the biggest cultures in the world?

like helloooo....

your "theory" is ignorant to 90% of the worlds cultural beliefs...

how do you preach exceptence and harmony when your own views clearly contradicts it?

culture is not about being close-minded and holding on to only the one view we've been raised with. the world is opening up. culture is about opening up and enjoying possibilities. culture is about advancement, as a species now because we have the means to communicate all together. no one is right and no one is wrong, but so many people think their view is the right one and try to impose it on others. that's what war is all about.

culture is about life and creation. about tradition and innovation. the 13 moons calendar is actually an adaptation of most ancient eastern calendars (lunar) and the western ones (solar), unifying both ways of counting time in a perfectly realistic device.

i know how all cultures will have resistance to this, because it would mean letting go. people are afraid of letting go, afraid of every little egodeath even if it means the birth of something else, new possibilities, everything.

murdock you are going to have to do a lot better than that in order to stand ground against someone as smart as namaste. Have you read her blogs, the has an enlgish one a french one AND a spanish one.. Have you any idea how much research this girl does?

You need to catch up in terms of openness and respect linguisticly, insulting someone is no way to make friends and if you dont want friends, why are you even reading this thread? Move along troll.

Think you can butt heads with me,c I agree wtih everything namaste has said and i can dig you up REAMS of information and throw facts at you that'll make you piss yourself. IF you get into a battle of proof versus what if with me you'll soon find yourself frustrated into submission. Try me.

Guess what, the only thing standing between humanity and a better future is attitudes like yours. Get off your high horse and get down here and walk with the rest of us. Have you seen waking life, what the bleep do we know anyway or listened/read the power of now by Eckhart Tolle?

Zomb, get a life robot, or we'll reprogram you.

Arg! plz do not proceed on a reprogramming, i bet that hurts. bleep bleep.

Since i have a well grown life for now, i can tell im really glad with the actual time, and whatever calendar we will use wont make u happier or smarter or anything. The time we human use is a concept to help society working in any ways. Time is a far more complicated concept than just seconds, hours and days, its a vector working in all the physical dimensions, making things to advance, evolve and die. Just stick to it, hippies...( i know you love that one he he ;) )

who/what is god? the god of discrimination?
the sun shines on everyone except those who stay in the shadows.

i do not believe a calendar will make anyone happier, but i believe we can build more equal things if we have tools that have equal measures, and that are rooted into reality instead of into... whatever our current calendar is rooted into lol.
