I agree that there is no time and that NOW is all that exists . Our ego's are what seem to constantly get in the way , by trying to project a better future or to victimize our past . Alphabetical Symbology Renewing lost knowledge given from the connection with creation. All shapes are shaped not by humanity but instead by Creation through the hands of humanity. We, all of us ARE the connection between what is non conscious and what is conscious in our meek concept construct of those conceptions. Creation is conscious in a whole other way than we have meaning to apply to. The connected state atom is a part of its local construct. It's aware of its entity extensions and energetically strives to influence the connection towards more connecting. Emotions are the foundation for connection direction. Electric motions. Electric is not divisible into categorical aspects as mankind has mistakenly attempted to divisify a multiple. Although this divisification has occurred because Creation, the collected state atomic connection is in it for the intricacies of every direction and thus allowed the human psyche to give Creation a loo at what it is like to be divided. This is the major failing. There is no division. The exists ONLY multiplication. Multiple is divide. All is multiply. There is however an inhale/exhale factor involved. Multiply TOGETHER or Multiple APART. Let's inhale some atoms. I see how time is a form of organization between humans because we are too chaotic and disconnected to communicate without the structure of time. If humans channeled their energies differently we could easily live without "time" because our perceptions would be completely different and our communication levels would deepen with meaning. Some people seem to have gotten pissed off on this thread, why bother getting fursturated? Negative energy never helps anything, it just contributes to the misery of our world. I don't know about the whole stereotyped "hippie" thing, what does that have to do with time? If one wants to question the meaning and validity of time, they're more than welcome to, whether they shower or take mush or whatever "hippies" suspposetly do. Be happy and stop getting angry, it doesn't help anything. As for time, i have no answers. I take comfort in the fact that i probably don't know anything. Views and opinions can be beautiful, but they're not meant to be inflicted or forced upon others. |

| Coolness: 166490 | tina... thank you so much for making sense! i think what you say is intelligent. what i have to say about the effects of time keeping on the people is mostly about the moon; i spoke to a lot of people who don't even know when the full moon or the new moon is happening, but they know what date we are. i think it is important to be conscious of the real energies around us and synchronize with them, and i think that is an important role of a calendar.
personnaly i tend to keep track of time with both the cycles of the moon and the sun, with key events like the movements of the planets somehow integrated. this is what is the most natural and real to me, but it is rather complicated to most people, and not very practical in the industrialized kind of world we live in. sure i still use dates, because i have to, but they really mean nothing, they are void of signification, they don't carry any particular quality of energy (apart from the 7-day cycle). |

Maurice Cotterell presents a theory, in an interesting book containing details of the Mayan system; (The Mayan Prophecies by Adrian G. Gilbert and Maurice M. Cotterell), as to the nature of the Mayan forecast. I did not give it much credence originally, but some new scientific research may provide some support for it and the Sun does seem to be behaving oddly in the past few years. Prior to his South American researches, Maurice had been interested in the effects of the Sun's magnetic field on the Earth. The Sun has a complex quadripole magnetic field and it also rotates significantly faster at the equator than at the poles. The material in the Sun behaves as an electrically conducting liquid, constrained by gravity and magnetism but stirred by rotation and convection. Maurice modelled this mathematically and found that the configuration of the field should vary in a cyclical way with a predictable period. One of the shorter cycles within this was 11.4 years, only a few months longer than the observed 11.1-year sunspot cycle. Sunspots are like giant twisters that are relatively cooler in the centre. We see a sunspot when it is aligned so that we look down its centre; this peaks every eleven years because they are aligned magnetically. At the sunspot maximum, the fields align the sunspots vertically so they become visible, one pole uppermost on one cycle and the other pole uppermost during the next peak, eleven years later. This much is known to science from observation, but Maurice claims he can derive it mathematically. The Mayan Prophecies book does not include the actual mathematics, however, so it is not possible for me to judge its validity. When Maurice came to study the Mayan calendar he noticed that there was a great similarity between the time cycles predicted for solar magnetism and the cycles inherent to the Mayan calendar system. In his theory the Sun's magnetic field reverses at the end of a complete cycle, after 1,366,040 days. In the Mayan calendar, a complete cycle of time is 1,366,560 days. [ exodus2006.com ] |
