GUS TILL is available in Montreal, Quebec or Ottawa for the weekend of July 8th, 2006. In 1998, Gus sold out a 2000 capacity venue in Montreal and is finally back on an exclusive Eastern Canadian tour. Bio is below and photos available. He'll be performing an event in Toronto the previous weekend, and therefore, airfare expense is already covered. Please get in touch for bookings. Thanks in advance, Risa GUS TILL ~ Biography Gus Till has been a music/producer/DJ since the punk days of the 70's in Melbourne Australia. A pioneer of the psytrance scene, he has released 60+ tracks over the years on Flying Rhino, Dragonfly, Iboga, T.I.P. World, Spiraltrax etc. as Bus, Slinky Wizard, Stoop & Fidjet and Zen Lemonade. In December of 2005 he released the long-awaited BUS album morebusinesslinkyouthere on Sub Records, showcasing a range of styles from lush morning grooves to deep, moody trance - all with a healthy dose of psychedelica. Over the years Gus has worked with Michael Hutchence (The Max Q project), Bono and Edge, Todd Terry, African Jazz/Soul legend Manu Dibango, Nina Hagen, Jamiroquai, System Seven, Adam Freeland etc. and worked as the in-house engineer at Youth's Butterfly Studios. In addition, he has traveled extensively as a DJ/ live act, performing to thousands at festivals in Greece, Japan, Mexico, Chile ,Portugal, Sth Africa, Germany, Sweden, France, UK, Israel, USA , Zambia, Morocco, Australia, Thailand, Finland, Croatia, Bolivia Finland, Italy etc. Last year he released a retrospective of his earlier, mainly unreleased Downbeat/Dub pieces titled "Dub Shadows" on Cyan Music and another album of new ambient compositions titled "Electric Oceans" on Japanese label 30th Co. both to much critical acclaim. He is currently living on the island of the gods, Bali, and has recently been doing gigs in and around Tokyo ,London, Athens, Jakarta, Melbourne and is one of the in-house DJ's at Kudeta in Bali. Presently he is busy working on a plethora of new projects: Zen Lemonade have nearly completed both new Trance and downtempo/ dub albums.There are further chill-out projects including a follow up to Electric Oceans and an album featuring a Balinese Gamelan ensemble. He has also been busy collaborating with Breakbeat DJ Adam Freeland on some remixes and is preparing another project in the rock/break style with his wife Cozi (DJ Supercozi).
