OMG saw it yesterday. so good. anyone else see it? I know Loud Sipher did. =)

The hot blonde elf was in it so much and he is dead sexy.

Not sure if i liked it more or less than the first but it didnt really have a beginning or and end cause it is the middle movie.

Do not want to wait a year to see the next one

have you read the books?
and if so, was it anything like the book? or was just a holly wood movie?

#1) Lord of the Rings isn't a holywood movie. It was produced by a new zealand film company, directed by a new zealand director, and was filmed on location IN NEW ZEALAND. Basically, it is a new zealand film distributed by a holywood company.

It's like saying GT Interactive made Doom and Quake, when it was ID Software that did, GT Interactive only distributed it to stores.

#2) Lord of the Rings movie is as close a movie will ever get to the original book. There are a few omissions and very few errors, but over all it's 90% accurate. Ask anyone who has read the book and they will tell you that the movie is what they imagined.

i saw the 4:30 show today...

Totally dope. Althogh a few hokey, and a few unrealistic aspects... with minor editing of the story... but it definitely lives up to the books.

anyone who likes fantasy in any way should definitely see this movie.

The Ents arent quite as i imagined them, but awesome none the less. such incredible detail.

beautiful cinematography... if you liked the first one, you'll love the two towers.

*lol*
i should be a movie critic.
i give it ****1/2 (4.5 stars)

I've heard a lot of good. I'm going to see this tommorow. Saw pictures of the ents, yeah that's not what I pictured, but I can see why since they're going to a war, they'd be too slow to be visualy apealing.

There is a lot of hype around LotR because it is certainly one of the most beautiful movie ever made. But to say that you wont see it because it's "commercial" is stupid. You should go see it simply because it IS the book with a missing page or two, not because it's some sort of capatilistic money making machine of some sort.
