Basic answer is it is mind kandy for me. Complex layers @ high rate. The music it self has a spirt of it it;s own ( hense tthe earth tones you hear from time to time). It also makes me want to dance for hoursd & hours in my bubble with the music,,,,,,,Zen dancing:) Wicked interesting peeps tend to listen to it,,,but you could say that about any style and get away with it too;) Lee |

What do I like with goa is that it sends me somewhere else.. Makes me see vizualz... "potentiel visuel" yah.. :) Also I LOVE the bassdrum! It's like a wave that never ends, it carries you away... It's powerful. It's true that you seem to never get tired dancing on goa.. Also, it's good for studies... Like, I do my homeworks listening to goa... It puts me in the mood for working on maths ;) |

 Coolness: 34350 | Psytrance has lost its edge. I liked it when it was aggressive and still vaguely attached to its industrial roots. There is still SOME good new material coming out, but not as much as there used to be.
Juno Reactor of course is always pushing the edge, The Higher Human Form came out with a decent album last year. It's just not as an active genre as it used to be. |

Goa and psy is music and is world discovery. Last Juno reactor album "Labyrinth" is a story, when i listen to Conquistador, i see a movie playing in the same time. Trance music is becomming more and more closer to an complete art. What i mean is that with time, trance music is connecting to other musical world(Classical, punk, folk, house...)This connections permit to producer to become more and more a composer, playing with many instrument like in orchestra(Like Bethoven, Mosart, Bach..thoses geniuns of past centuries..)I would not be suprised if we, in couple of years, start to talk about Trance producer in the same manner that we talk about Genius, Just to compare, Juno Reactor(Ben Watkins) is becomming more and more closer to Hans Zimmer, Lisa Gerard, and other Great Composer Same thing in Astral Projection - Kaballah and in Last Infected Mushroom Production Psytrance is simillar to mathematic algorithm that ares present in natural life: Chaos Theory, Gödel theorem...) Thoses algorithm ares vibes, waves that ares travelling between all listening minds. It is a direct link to thousand of consciousness plan. It is up to you to discover them ; ) |

| Coolness: 36260 | goa is A place in India, where the western people that moved there claimed to have started the GOA sceen, really the way I see it Psytrance as it stands, grew with the rest of the electonic sceen. Goa is / was the "Ibiza" of the psychedlic culture. The movie "Last Hippie Standing" tried to set the record strait, but you can only fit so much information in a 1 hour documentry. |

 Coolness: 509470 | Everybodies' definition is different, I consider Goa darker like absolum/old wizzynoise/tim schuldt whereas psytrance is Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection and Alien Project. but that's really just me. I think Full-On has evolved beyond a description at this point as I can identify at least four different substyles within psytrance these days |

 Coolness: 166485 | moi j'aime le goa parce que y'a tellement de super belle musique là-dedans, et les sons sont tellement incroyables! j'aime aussi l'aspect que dans les raves tout est artistique, c'est les partys ou nos sens sont les plus comblés.
ouie - musique vue - deco odorat - encens gout - chai toucher - la terre et qu'à un point tous ces sens se mélangent pour former un tout assez extatique. :) lsd = synesthesia j'aime la philosophie goa. j'aime entendre goa gil parler, et beaucoup d'autres personnes aussi dans les partys que j'entends, des gens vraiment sages et intelligents. j'aime le goa parce que les partys sont organisés comme des voyages. parce que ça nous ramène à un aspect sacré de la danse et de la vie, parce que le dj n'est pas vu comme un superhéros mais plus comme un guide. (dans les vrais partys...) parce que om. parce que la communauté. parce que la famille. parce que j'aime danser sous les étoiles et voir le lever de soleil. parce que dans la musique, y'a des samples et qu'on peut faire une histoire et envoyer des messages avec ça. parce que la musique est pas juste de la musique, c'est aussi un message. |

 Coolness: 58610 | le goa c est la premiere branche serieuse de la trance selon moi.De nos jours ca a tournere psy-trance,moin organic avec beaucoup moin de glitch.mais si vous ecouter bien,les nouveau cd qui sortent retournent tranquillement vers le goa,avec plus d instrument organic et des vieu synth genre ts 404. |
