| they DID make it across the border, suprisingly. they played for about 45 mins. to an hour, yelled their way thru a bunch of their tracks, sounded like shit but hey, it was mobb deep, in the flesh. by the end of their set there were like forty people on stage, they were hauling up all these bitches and making them dance onstage and shit, plus they had three MASSIVE bodyguard type dudes onstage with them the whole time (these guys were barely even bobbing their heads it was jilarious, jus standing there scoping shit out and looking really sketchy).. and plus everyone from all the opening acts and all the VIPs and backstage and organizers all made their way onstage by the end of the show. (and the Dome stage is tiny)
my first time ever at the Dome... horrible sound, but all in all i guess it's pretty good for a hip hop show. not too many people there, so if it was at metropolis or even clubsoda i think it might've appeared a little empty - as it was the vibe was good. Music Management Inc (this was their first event ever) announced after the event that Nas is coming to the Dome December 12th, so that's the next cant miss east coast hip hop event in my mind (other than b-boys nov 7th, which i will miss cause a) i already saw 'em twice and b ) last time they sucked)
lastly, weird but, i coulda swore i saw u there christina. musta just been an imposter. |
