DESCRIPTION:Une semaine avant la journée mondiale de lutte contre le VIH/SIDA, CACTUS Montréal a décidé a choisi de souligner son anniversaire.

Voilà désormais 20 ans, les premiers programmes d'accès au matériel de prévention pour personnes qui consomment des drogues par injection et inhalation voyaient le jour.

Cet évènement mérite d'être souligné. Le chemin parcouru par les pionniers en matière de réduction des méfaits a été énorme. Pourtant, malgré toutes ces avancées, il reste encore énormément d'enjeux en matière de santé, de services sociaux et de droits humains. Ces avancées viennent de se voir récompenser par une mention d'honneur aux Prix d'excellence du Ministère de la santé et des services sociaux .
