hi there, the new production of bamboo forest is not really crap...lol .... i was busy @ orion for listen very well his new live pa ...

but at the after party, the sound of his live pa was perfect , top notch.... his new tracks was completly top shape and very good quality... new bamboo mormning stuffs...

I know that at the party, his new live PA played with more compression in the subs and i dont know why... i dont know.... and his retro set was more down because he played very old track .... he buyed a new Mac book for his live set the day of the party in montreal...


i think that he know what he do ... he is teacher @ music school of the legends Etnica @ ibiza...


by the way,i will play new tracks of him in my dj set soon...for me its the way of new psy trance for morning...

Nicolas Oesch aka Nikka is the musical creator of the Psytrance project Mekkanikka. Born in Switzerland, Nikka has been driven by music his whole life, expressing his talents at the age of 8 with the piano, later in his teens attending jazz school and playing bass in punk bands around Europe. Eventually, he was led to California where he recorded local bands and began his career in audio production. Then he was introduced to the world of psytrance thru Burning Man and the infamous psytrance collective of the CCC in San Francisco, where he soon began producing and Dj.ing psytrance. In 1999, Nikka started the project of Biodegradable with Sammy Guediche (CPU) and Max( Sirus Isness), which gained quick recognition through tracks on compilations and from their their album release of Phaser on Acid Dance Records in 2001.

Nikka then began his own super psychadelic project of Mekkanikka, releasing Basic Tribal Pattern in 2003 on Spirit Zone. Since then he has received lots of postive attention from international dancefloors and has had many releases on compilations from labels such as 3d Vision, Spirit Zone, Nuerobiotic, Turbo Trance Rec., Spliff Rec, Agitato Rec., Phantasm Rec., and Materia Rec.. Mekkanikka is now in Barcelona producing his next album and has been playing his cutting edge new sound around the world. Recently he callaborated with other psytrance artists such as Planet B.E.N, CPU, Bliss, Sirius_Isness, Bliss and Puzzle. Mekkanikka will present his new album ''California Dreaming'' !

ORION 2012: NEW YEAR CELEBRATION

Avec autant d'étoiles brillantes facilement visibles de par le globe, Orion est peut-être la constellation la plus ancienne et de nombreuses civilisations l'ont tracée, quoique sous des images différentes. Les Sumériens y voyaient un mouton. Les Égyptiens la considéraient comme une offrande à Osiris, dieu de la Mort et de l'outre-monde. En Chine, Orion est l'une des 28 Xiu (宿) du Zodiaque chinois traditionnel et est connue sous le nom de Shen (參), ce qui signifie littéralement « trois », peut-être en référence aux trois étoiles du Baudrier. Pour les Lacandons les quatre étoiles principales du Baudrier d'Orion constituent la constellation du pécari à collier (k'éékèn)1.

Orion était mentionnée sous cette dénomination dans l’Odyssée d'Homère, les Odes d'Horace, les Phénomènes d'Aratus de Soles et l’Énéide de Virgile. Elle était bien entendu répertoriée parmi les 48 constellations de l’Almageste de Ptolémée.

Orion est aussi citée dans la Bible, dans les livres de Job (9.9) (38.31-32) et d'Amos (5.8) .

Pour la mythologie grecque, elle représente Orion, un chasseur légendaire qui se vantait de pouvoir tuer n'importe quel animal. Dans certaines versions de la légende, il fut tué par le Scorpion, qui a été placé à l'opposé de la voûte céleste par les dieux qui les ont ainsi séparés afin qu'ils ne soient jamais au-dessus de l'horizon en même temps.

Il a été également avancé que le nom de la constellation dérive de l'akkadien « Uru-anna », la lumière des cieux.

''Unfortunately, I have some alarming news. Due to Visa issues,I am sadlyforced to cancel my performance at the Eclipse Festival 2010.

As you might know, I am a Swedish citizen living in Phoenix, Arizona. USCIS recently changed their Visa policies, and in order for me to remain in the US I have to change Visa status…Needless to say, there is too much at stake for me to travel to Canada at this time.

I honestly feel really bad about this. I have never canceled a gig before in my entire life, and I am so sorry that I have let everyone down.''

Ashtech is a producer, bass player, solo artist and dj. His style combines original dub and urban electronica and is uniquely characterised by the flavor of is heavy dubby bassline which features strongly in all of his productions. He started his career as a dj and spent his younger years listening to a broad range of music, taking in influences from different styles and building a passion for the experimentation on the diversity of sound. For 5 years, Ashtech was almamegretta's bass player and toured italy and europe on the mainstream circuit, releasing 4 albums with them. In italy he worked on 14 albums as a producer and as a musician. Now based in london, he launched his debut solo album walkin' target - produced by dub maestro Gaudi - which was released on interchill records during the summer of 2007. the album includes 4 tracks featuring the inimitable reggae vocal stylings by cheshire cat (leftfield) and has been considered a dub masterpiece by the worldwide music press. In addition to his work as a producer and solo artist, ashtech has performed as a dj at many music festivals and events in Europe and the uk such as electric picnic, waveform project, id spiral, high foundation festival and many more. His wide–ranging track selection touches the numerous styles of urban sounds and is an outstanding combination of emotion and energy. Ashtech's latest work is a new dub project called 'meditronica', written in collaboration with polcari, dub gabriel, raiz and eraldo bernocchi. meditronica was released in april 2009 on Rarenoise Records.

Mad Maxx est le projet solo de Max Peterson. Max est né à San Diego (Californie), il a passé son adolescence en France. Il a ensuite vécu aux États-Unis et au Mexique avant de s’installer à Barcelone, en Espagne. Max participe à la scène musicale depuis plus de dix ans. Il a commencé sa carrière de DJ à San Francisco en 1996 pour ensuite produire de la musique transe en 2000 avec Samy Guédiche (CPU) et Nicolas Oesch (Mekkanikka) avec leur projet commun, Biodégradable. La carrière de Max comme producteur a rapidement pris son envol. C’est seulement un an plus tard que Max et Davina Elmosnino allaient créer le groupe Sirius Isness, qui allait rapidement conquérir les foules d’un bout à l’autre de la planète, avec la production de trois albums et d'une compilation sur des étiquettes réputées, comme Moon Spirit, Mind Control (Talamasca) et Phantasm Records.

Depuis deux ans, Max a commencé un projet solo: Mad Maxx. Ce projet est le résultat de nombreuses années de travail acharné à perfectionner un type de son qui incarne tous ses voyages et toutes ses expériences des dix dernières années. Sa musique est un mélange de transe, de sons ethniques et de sons profonds, avec une ligne de basse solide, une touche électro, des chants émotifs et parfois des ambiances nostalgiques, le tout avec un BPM de 140 à 145, dans une tornade psychédélique. Mad Maxx is the solo project of Max Peterson. Max was born in San Diego, California, and spent most of his teenage years in France. Receiving great praise from the public, Sirius Isness went on to release countless tracks, three albums and one compilation on the most prestigious labels in the trance scene: Moon Spirit, Mind Control (Talamasca) and Phantasm Records.

Two years ago, Max started his solo project under the name of Mad Maxx. Mad Maxx is the result of many years of hard work, perfecting a type of sound, embodying all the travels, experiences and parties that have happened in the past 10 years. The music is a mix of trancey, ethnic and deep sounds, with a strong kick and solid bass line, an electro touch, emotional chants and, at times, nostalgic atmospheres, with a BPM range between 140 and 145. You’ll feel illuminated by his energy and music, ideal for sunrises!

Eclipse 2009 was my first psychedelic festival experience, and I am glad to have attended. I am a different person for the better now, and I am already counting down the days until your 10th anniversary! I am very excited and am hoping with all my will that the weather this year proves to be beautiful in perpetuum. I've only been interested in the scene for a couple years now, but my tastes and knowledge have progressed so quickly. I am up to date with all the most renowned artists of highest quality sound production, especially the Twisted Records crew. Almost immediately after discovering the psy scene, I knew I wanted to become completely devoted. However, to my dismay, without any references or prior experience with audio engineering, I was unable to attend my desired program at the world-renowned OIART in London, Ontario. Still greatly disappointed, and struggling with regret, I am striving to learn and assist any way I can in this industry and scene. Now in the meantime, I am attending a Biotechnology program at St. Lawrence College - Kingston in vain, because I figure I may as well choose something before I run out of time and options... I suppose I have to treat my passion for goa/psytrance production as a hobby rather than a destiny. I saddens me, but I can cope as long as I can visit the festival each year. Just as a little suggestion for 2010, just to get Prometheus to headline. He is such an amazing producer and is getting up there in knowledge and skill with Mr. Posford!

Also, before attending Eclipse 2009, I had lost all hope in people. I now want to be a part of your project for the rest of my life. You guys have no clue how much happier you have made me subconsciously. And I thank you for it with my life. In short, I just want to show my gratitude for making Eclipse possible, and if I may volunteer in any way during summer 2010, I would be humbled. I hope to meet some of you next summer so I may thank you in person.
