It just kinda reminds me of a wormwhole, you know, the kind to enter hyperspace.
And the green beam looks lie it's causing it. In the video, the dark center of the spiral is actually darker that the rest of the sky...
Actually the blue/green beam only appeared when the spiral went burst if I recall correctly. That video is only the end of the phenomenon which lasted about 3 minutes.
Most people are going to say "Oh it can't be just a missile fucking up, it's got to be a cover-up" despite the fact that there have been a ton of russian missile fuckups in that area for the past few months, but I've got to go wit Occam's Razor in this case..
